NASA is seeking proposals for sustainable lunar lander development that will be part of the Human Landing System Program based at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville. Birmingham museum receives $3 million in endowments

The Birmingham Museum of Art has received two $1.5 million gifts for the endowment of two museum positions. Dora and Sanjay Singh provided $1.5 million for a director of learning and engagement, and the Hugh Kaul Foundation gave $1.5 million to support the role of chief financial officer.AL.com

Karr named president of UAH

Chuck Karr, interim president of the University of Alabama in Huntsville since November 2021, has been officially appointed to the job by the school’s board of trustees. Prior to UAH, Karr was dean of the University of Alabama’s College of Engineering. He is a three-time UA graduate. – News 19

Alabama Goods will be expanding its operations center in West Homewood and adding a third brick-and-mortar store. The store, which specializes in Alabama-made goods, has locations in Homewood and in Huntsville. The new store is planned for Hoover.   – Bham Now
