America’s First Federal Credit Union has promoted Nancy Rice to senior vice president – chief risk officer. A 29-year AmFirst veteran, she most recently served as vice president – risk management.
“Nancy’s tenure with AmFirst and her years of experience in leading compliance efforts uniquely qualifies her to step into this strategic role,” said Bill Connor, AmFirst president and CEO.
In her new role, she will direct the administration of AmFirst credit resolutions and enterprise risk management, including vendor management, compliance, fraud, security and quality assurance.
Rice joined AmFirst’s accounting department in 1994, before moving to the internal audit department. She then joined the risk management department in 2004. Since then, she has been promoted several times.
Rice is a University of Alabama and the Credit Union National Association Management School graduate. She also holds certifications in Bank Secrecy Act, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management.
