NAI Chase Commercial represented Eikon Research Inc. in its search and leasing of 6767 Progress Centre, Building 7 in Huntsville. The facility has 8,890 square feet and will serve as the company’s new corporate headquarters and lab space.
Eikon, which is part of the missile defense industry, had been located on Discovery Drive for several years. Its new facility in Progress Centre is near Bridge Street Town Center and provides the team with more high-end lab space.
Stephanie Cunningham, CEO, and Chezney Orcutt, CFO, of Eikon worked with Joy Nalley and Doug McCullough of NAI Chase Commercial to find the right space. McCullough also assisted in the final contract negotiations on behalf of Eikon.
“Throughout our property search, Doug and his team worked tirelessly to ensure all of our needs were met,” said Orcutt. “As our needs pivoted and the real estate market evolved, they didn’t hesitate to go back to the drawing board and continue the hunt. We felt like a priority despite our size and really appreciated the hoops everyone jumped through.”
McCullough said that the Eikon lease was the latest of several major transactions NAI Chase has represented in the Alabama market. “We are continuing to see businesses thrive in the Huntsville market and we invite businesses to contact us if we can be of any assistance with their real estate needs in our local market or nationwide,” McCullough said.
