In his State of the City address, Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed touted the city’s record-breaking $1.7 billion in capital investments, which created more than 2,000 jobs. Robins & Morton celebrates topping out of Florida hospital

Former NFL player to lead Brasfield & Gorrie subsidiary

Former Auburn University and NFL linebacker Reggie Torbor is leading Pylon Building Group, a subsidiary launched by Brasfield & Gorrie, which is based in Birmingham. The new general construction company is working on a restaurant at Red Mountain Theatre as its first project. – AL.com

 

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee opening in Homewood

Bitty & Beau’s Coffee plans to open in Homewood at the former Valley Cleaners site in the fall. The coffee shop employs individuals with intellectual and developmental disorders. This is the second Bitty & Beau’s in Alabama. A location opened in Auburn in August. – Bham Now
