Birmingham opens visitors center

Ahead of the World Games, the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau has opened a visitors center in the heart of Birmingham’s new CityWalk. The center includes a kiosk with information in multiple languages. The center is at 2200 Ninth Ave. North.  – Birmingham Times

Lexicon Inc., a steel fabrication and construction company based in Little Rock, Arkansas, has acquired Trussville-based Universal Limited Inc., a family-owned business serving the commercial and industrial insulation markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. – TB&P
