Seymour will manage all fiduciary activity for growing 20-person office
Argent Trust Company has announced that Mollie Seymour has been promoted to Birmingham market president. She will continue to report to Argent Trust Company President Ken Alderman and be responsible for directing and managing all fiduciary activity for the Birmingham team.
With 14 years of experience in the trust industry, Seymour came to Argent from Regions Private Wealth Management in Birmingham, where she was vice president and trust adviser. She joined Argent in 2018 as senior vice president and trust officer in the Birmingham office, where she worked closely with individuals, families and endowments.

Seymour received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. She is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School. Her industry memberships include the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham and the Alabama Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
Seymour will lead a Birmingham office team, that in less than three years, has grown from two to 20 team members.
One of the newest front office staff additions is Tripp Martin as trust administrative assistant. Martin will report to Seymour and be responsible for acting as a liaison between clients and trust officers, while fostering positive client relations. He joins the front office from the operations team, where he spent eight months as an operations trust specialist, focusing on settlements and income. Prior to Argent, Tripp served as a financial advisor with Pittman Financial Partners, where he was a licensed life and health insurance agent and investment advisor. Martin received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Samford University in Homewood.
