Mick Knerr has joined Valent Group as vice president of carrier relations in its Property & Casualty practice. Based in Birmingham, he will be leading the insurance carrier relations and marketing program for the agency, including for the company’s Mobile, Huntsville and Decatur offices, teams and clients. Previously on staff with the largest brokerage firm in the world, Knerr brings the experience and expertise Valent is known for delivering — its Fortune 1000 experience for the middle market.
