Michael Vincent has been named chief executive officer and president of United Bank. Vincent has been serving as interim president since the retirement of Robert Jones was announced in July.
Vincent previously served as executive vice president and chief credit officer of United Bank. He joined United Bank in 2006.
“I’m honored to assume this role and sincerely appreciate the trust the board has placed in me,” said Vincent. “The bank’s management team today is the same one that has been working together for many years. Our strategies and goals remain the same, our application and execution will remain the same and we anticipate the same success going forward.”
United Bank, headquartered in Atmore, is a $1 billion financial institution that has served its community for 117 years. It has offices in Atmore, Brewton, East Brewton, Flomaton, Monroeville, Frisco City, Bay Minette, Daphne, Foley, Lillian, Loxley, Magnolia Springs, Semmes, Silverhill, Spanish Fort and Summerdale in Alabama, as well as Jay, Milton and Pace in Florida.
