Michael Andrews, CPA, ABV, a senior manager with Warren Averett CPAs and Advisors’ Estate Division in Montgomery, has been elected as president of the Montgomery Estate Planning Council.
Andrews joined Warren Averett in 2012 and has nine years of public accounting experience in Montgomery. He primarily works in estate and trust compliance and planning, income tax compliance and planning for individuals and family-owned businesses, entity planning and providing valuation services for estate and transactional purposes.
“I have spent a lot of time learning the industry, and I strive to help the community learn more about estate planning and provide insight to individuals on how they can best plan for their futures,” Andrews said.
The MEPC was formed in the 1960s o provide a better understanding of estate planning and the services estate planners can provide to the general public.
