Mercedes-Benz union vote coming in May
The National Labor Relations Board announced that voting will take place May 13-17 to determine whether workers at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International in Vance will join the United Auto Workers union. Results of the vote are expected the day voting ends. – AL.com
Brasfield & Gorrie celebrates topping out of new Southern Research building
Birmingham-based Brasfield & Gorrie recently celebrated the topping out of Southern Research’s new research laboratory building in Birmingham. Topping out means the building has reached its full height and construction focus now moves to the interior. The building is scheduled for completion in late 2025. – Brasfield & Gorrie
