Publix opens in Auburn

A Publix has opened adjacent to Auburn University’s campus, the first grocery in downtown Auburn since a long-closed A&P and Super Foods. Birmingham-based Daniel Corp. is the developer of the Publix shopping area called Shops on Gay Street.  – Opelika-Auburn News

 

Cullman’s Downtown Grill reopens after fire

The Downtown Grill and Side Bar has reopened in Cullman more than a year after a fire that shut it down. The restaurant on Fourth Street Southwest will be open for lunch and dinner every day but Sunday. – Cullman Tribune
