Marcus Maples

Baker Donelson attorney Marcus Maples has been recognized by the Alabama State Bar with its President’s Award.

He was recognized for his role as co-chair of the bar’s Diversity & Inclusion in the Profession Committee, where he has created a program to dramatically increase the number of diverse attorneys within the bar, as well as creating the LGBTQ Standing Subcommittee, which will present a strategy to increase the inclusion of LGBTQ members.

A shareholder in the Birmingham office of Baker Donelson, Maples has led defense teams in a wide range of complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes and construction litigation.
