Most Alabama employers will see a 29% unemployment tax cut in 2022 after the Alabama Legislature passed pandemic relief spending funds of $79.5 million. That money will go into the Alabama Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund to replenish dollars spent during the height of the pandemic. – Alabama Political Reporter

 

Encompass expands joint venture in Florida

Birmingham-based Encompass Health Corp. and Baptist Health South Florida have expanded a joint venture agreement to include the Baptist Health home health agency in Miami, Florida.
