New industrial park planned for Moody

A $125 million industrial park is planned for Moody, adjacent to Red Diamond’s corporate headquarters. The 172-acre Kelly Creek Commerce Park is a joint venture between Graham & Co. and Capstone Real Estate Investments. – AL.com

Stacker-reclaimer moving from Ohio to Alabama

A stacker-reclaimer is being disassembled in Ashtabula, Ohio, to be sent to Ashtabula Dock Company’s McDuffie Coal Terminal at the Port of Mobile. A stacker is used in bulk material handling to pile limestone, ores, cereals and other bulk material onto a stockpile. – The Star Beacon

 

Barber opens Advanced Design Center

Birmingham’s Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum has announced the creation of the Advanced Design Center. The center will function as a high-tech workspace for industrial design, including a multimedia hub for visiting designers to collaborate with other designers around the world. The center comprises 11,000 square feet at the Barber complex. BADC’s first project is a reboot of Ducati’s Supermono motorcycle, first introduced in 1993.  – Roadracing World
