The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship has selected Lisa Davis Mays as its new chief executive officer effective May 1.
The Huntsville center received more than 90 applications for the position, but chose Mays because of her passion, legal and financial background and fundraising experience.
“I am very pleased with the CEO Search Committee’s selection,” says Joanne Randolph, current CEO. Randolph is retiring in June.
Mays spent the last eight years in the nonprofit sector, where she developed skills in fund development, grant writing, capital campaigns, public speaking, strategic planning, marketing, public relations, business transactions and relationship building.
