Leidos Dynetics gives UAH College of Engineering $25,000

The gift will support the Dean’s Excellence Fund

Leidos Dynetics has given the University of Alabama in Huntsville College of Engineering a gift of $25,000. The gift is the latest in a long-standing partnership between the aerospace engineering company and UAH.

This latest contribution will go to support the Dean’s Excellence Fund in the college to help meet the needs of engineering students and faculty by funding projects and initiatives aimed at advancing engineering research and education.

“This donation is a testament to our commitment to fostering strong partnerships and collaboration with UAH and the Huntsville community,” said Steve Cook, president of Leidos Dynetics Group. “We believe this contribution will serve as a catalyst for continued teamwork between Leidos and UAH, as we work together towards a shared goal of advancing technology and innovation.”

The collaboration focuses specifically on the field of aerospace engineering, to develop advanced technologies for space exploration, missile defense and other critical national security missions. The gift will continue to aid the development of new systems and technologies that will impact the aerospace industry and further national security efforts.
