Kimberly Ward has joined Littler as special counsel in its Birmingham office.
Ward’s practice is concentrated in employment litigation, including discrimination claims, Family Medical Leave Act compliance, wage and hour disputes, non-compete matters and more. In her litigation practice, she has investigated and assisted entities to respond to complaints pending before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Department of Education, the Office of Civil Rights and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Ward also has drafted and reviewed employee handbooks for compliance with state and federal laws, as well as partnering with employers to provide EEO training to manager and staff to proactively avoid litigation.
Ward earned her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Auburn University.
