Kayak course construction to begin in Huntsville

Construction is set to begin on the kayak course section of Apollo Park in Huntsville, the 10-acre park that’s adjacent to Top Golf and the Orion Amphitheater. The expansion will more than double the size of the existing pond, with 30-foot flumes for the kayak course. – AL.com

 

Racing commission donates $4 million

The Birmingham Racing Commission donated more than $4 million to a number of organizations. The money came from tax revenue created by the Birmingham Race Course Casino’s Historical Horse Racing gaming machines. This money came from 2021’s game play. – WBRC 6
