Kassouf promotes 10 employees

Two of the 10 employees were promoted to manager

Kassouf, an accounting firm, has promoted 10 employees, naming two to manager.

“We are incredibly proud of these team members and their accomplishments. They exemplify our firm’s principles around leadership, client care and accountability,” said Gerry Kassouf, the firm’s director and shareholder.

The Birmingham-based accounting firm’s two new managers are Julie Parker and Kami West.

Parker is in the firm’s Assurance Services Group, performing audits and other assurance services for an array of industries. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

West, a University of Alabama graduate, works in the firm’s Healthcare Group, providing accounting and adviser services to health care organizations.

Also promoted were Ashley Burns to supervising senior; and Levi Blalock, Jeremy Green, Matthew Jardell, Phil Johnston, Kerry Jones, Sarah Oaks and Cheryl Wisner to senior. All are CPAs.

“These individuals have continued to grow and develop during some of the toughest tax seasons we’ve experienced, brought on by the pandemic. We are grateful to their hard work and all the contribute to the firm,” said Jonathan Kassouf, director and shareholder.

The accounting, auditing, tax and financial planning firm was founded in 1931 and serves individuals and businesses in a broad range of industries. The firm has more than 100 employees.
