Mobile, Alabama, native and local banker Justin Mercer recently joined Hancock Whitney—one of America’s strongest, safest financial institutions—as a retirement sales and relationship management professional.
Mercer has nine years of industry experience focused on 401(k), 403(b), and defined benefit plans. With a service territory spanning Mobile and Baldwin counties through the Florida Panhandle, he provides in-depth consultations for existing retirement plans and start-up companies, merger and acquisition consultations for company owners and their retirement plans, participant/plan sponsor fiduciary education, and individual retirement calculations and planning.

Mercer, a Fairhope resident, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of South Alabama. He also holds three designations with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA): Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA), and Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).
