Judge dismisses BSC lawsuit

A Montgomery County Circuit Court judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Birmingham-Southern College to compel Alabama State Treasurer Young Boozer III to approve a $30 million loan to the college. BSC President Daniel Coleman says BSC is now exploring its options, which may include appealing to the Alabama Supreme Court. – Bham Now

 

Scanlon named president of Radiance Technologies

Jim Scanlon has been named president of Radiance Technologies, the Huntsville-based government contractor. Scanlon has served on the company’s board of directors for three years and will continue in that capacity.  – Cision

Launch Entertainment coming to Foley

Launch Entertainment has signed an agreement to bring a location to Foley’s Tanger Outlet Mall. It will be the second Alabama location for Launch, which features trampolines, bowling, a restaurant and bar, game arcade and more. The first location is in Prattville. – Launch Entertainment
