Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox has appointed Jessica Junkin to municipal court administrator. Junkin has worked for the city for more than seven years, most recently serving as acting court administrator.
Prior to serving in this role, Junkin served as assistant court administrator. From 2017 to 2020, she served with the District Attorney’s Office as data supervisor and grand jury coordinator.
“Jessica holds an impressive depth of knowledge and experience in court administration,” said Maddox. “She has excelled since stepping into the acting court administrator role, and we are excited to officially welcome her to the city’s leadership team.”
A Tuscaloosa native, Junkin has a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Faulkner University.
