Huntsville celebrates Tecvox growth

Members of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce participated in a ribbon-cutting this week for a larger space to house the tech solutions company Tecvox. A division of Amphenol Corp., a Fortune 500 company, Huntsville-based Tecvox makes products that can be found in luxury foreign cars such as Maserati, Porsche and Fiat. – News 19

UA sets fundraising record

The University of Alabama raised a record-breaking $226 million from 60,000 donors during the fiscal year ending Sept. 30. That record follows the one-year anniversary of the launch of the $1.5 billion Rising Tide Capital Campaign, which has raised more than $1.1 billion. – The University of Alabama
