Jason Isbell

Jason Isbell has joined the Governmental Affairs Practice as of counsel in Maynard Cooper & Gale’s Montgomery office.

Isbell has 18 years of experience working in the governmental affairs sector. He spent nine years working as a legislative fiscal analyst in the Alabama Legislative Fiscal Office. He also served two years as chief counsel to the Office of the Speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives before taking the role of vice president of legal and governmental affairs with the Alabama Bankers Association.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Faulkner University, a master’s from Auburn University Montgomery and a J.D. from Faulkner University’s Thomas Goode Jones School of Law.
