Gov. Kay Ivey has signed a bill that will provide relief from the business privilege tax for Alabama small businesses. This will give a tax break to more than 230,000 small businesses across Alabama to the tune of an estimated $23 million a year.  – Governor’s Office

 

Huntsville airport CEO to retire

Rick Tucker, CEO of the transportation and business hub that includes the Huntsville International Airport, International Intermodal Center and Jetplex Industrial Park, will retire at the end of the year. His deputy director, Luther “Butch” Roberts, will replace him. – News 19

Innovation Depot names two to new positions
