Alabama groups get $1.3 million in breast cancer research funds

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama has awarded $1.275 million in funding for 24 research projects across seven institutions in Alabama. Those receiving funding include Auburn University, CerFlux, HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, Tuskegee University, the University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Alabama and the University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute.  – Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama

Lockheed Alabama facility part of $431 million Army contract
