Ida Fields

Ida Fields, longtime owner of Mobile International Speedway, has decided to retire and sell the track.

Fields has a one-year lease agreement with Gina Schild-Knowles, a second-generation racer who is currently the promoter and manager of Houston Raceway Park. Schild-Knowles plans to run a limited schedule in 2021, with full racing to start back in 2022 and is already working on site with Fields.

The track is opening March 27 for a racers town hall, with the return of Super Late Model Racing on June 26 with the Southern Super Series.
