New hotel coming next to AU campus

Graduate Auburn, a new 177-room hotel with a rooftop bar and restaurant, is going to be built on Magnolia Avenue across the street from Auburn University’s campus. The hotel, part of the Graduate chain with 33 hotels throughout the U.S. and U.K., will also have meeting space. – Bama Buzz

EDPA receives funding to support entrepreneurs

The Economic Development Partnership of Alabama Foundation has received three federal grants totaling just over $300,000 to accelerate the growth of entrepreneurship in Alabama. Capstone starts work on Georgia complex

Birmingham’s Capstone Building Corp. has started work on Classic City Flats, an apartment complex in Athens, Georgia. The 21-acre complex will feature 280 apartments in 12 buildings. – AL.com
