Sand Mountain retail center leases to Target, HomeGoods, more

Sand Mountain Marketplace, a 250,000-square-foot retail center under construction in Albertville, has signed leases with Target, HomeGoods, Academy Sports + Outdoors and more, said management company JLL. New UA president receives $800,000 contract

Peter Mohler will begin his new job as president of the University of Alabama with a salary of $800,000 through Sept. 30, 2026, with an annual performance bonus of $75,000 in 2025 and $150,000 in 2026.
