The Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center Board on Wednesday awarded a $3.9 million contract to upgrade its outdoor space. The contract went to the minority-owned company SDAC. – ABC 33/40

Carrigan’s Public House, on Birmingham’s Morris Avenue since 2013, is moving to The William, a facility on Third Avenue North. The restaurant and bar will make the move sometime in 2025. – AL.com
