New Birmingham fine-dining restaurant opening

Reve, a new fine-dining French restaurant, will open Saturday at Birmingham’s Pizitz Food Hall. Chef Jacob M. Stull is opening the restaurant that will offer tasting menus at $150 per person. It will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays. – Bham Now

Amazon will become the title sponsor of the annual Magic City Classic, the football game between Alabama A&M and Alabama State universities. The event’s official name is now the Amazon Magic City Classic presented by Coca-Cola. – The Birmingham Times
