Lithium-ion battery recycling plant coming to Tuscaloosa

Li-Cycle will open a commercial lithium-ion battery recycling facility in Tuscaloosa. The location will be the company’s fourth North American spoke, with facilities already operational in Kingston, Ontario, and Rochester, New York, and another planned for Gilbert, Arizona. – Business Wire

 

Venture for America sending 19 fellows to Birmingham

Venture for America is sending 19 two-year fellows to businesses and nonprofits in Birmingham, the group’s third-largest group of fellows behind Philadelphia and Detroit. The fellows will work with organizations in hopes they’ll remain in Birmingham after their fellowships have ended.  – Alabama NewsCenter
