The Highland Group has an exciting new addition to the Huntsville team for the summer – Jackson Pearson. Born and raised in Huntsville, Pearson is a senior at Auburn University and is pursuing a degree in Building Science. Through his internship with The Highland Group, Pearson has been able to work on subcontracts, shadow different roles, learn how to build relationships with subcontractors and how to manage projects.
“I want to work in the general contracting field because I like the mix of being inside and outside. You start with dirt, and watch it become a 60 ft. office building or a restaurant. And the change it brings to the community,” said Pearson. “This opportunity has been everything I imagined and more. I have learned so much thanks to The Highland Group.”
