Gulf Energy enters alliance with Chevron

This is the second alliance for the Daphne-based firm this year

Gulf Energy, of Daphne, has entered into a strategic alliance with Chevron Products Co., a division of Chevron U.S.A., to better serve the energy market in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi Gulf Coast regions.

This is the second strategic alliance Gulf Energy has entered into this year. Earlier, the company announced a partnership with 68 Ventures to build and operate a significant number of new-to-industry convenience stores throughout the region over the next several years.

The agreement with Chevron will allow Gulf Energy to distribute Chevron and Texaco products through its network.

“Teaming up with Chevron will allow us to offer our customers access to quality energy products and leverage Chevron’s strategic assets along the Gulf Coast to ensure stable supply,” said Joel Poe, founding partner, president and CEO of Gulf Energy. “Our mission is to support the communities and industries across the Gulf Coast with innovative energy distribution and logistics solutions. We are proud to have Chevron play a part in that.”

Gulf Energy develops, owns and operates convenience and retail fueling locations; distributes bulk transportation fuels, lubricants and additives; and provides total fuel management services.
