Birmingham BOE votes to sell headquarters to make room for hotel

The Birmingham Board of Education approved a letter of intent to sell its headquarters, paving the way for a new hotel. The building will be sold to A&R Group, which also owns the nearby Tutwiler Hotel. The BOE will move about a block away. – Bham Now

Aerojet Rocketdyne reaches rocket motor milestone

Huntsville-based Aerojet Rocketdyne has completed its 1,000th delivery of both the solid rocket boost motor and Liquid Divert and Attitude Control System for the Missile Defense Agency’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defense System.
