Dobbins Group LLC and Capstone Building Corp. have completed the $30 million Easterwood Apartments in Gardendale.

Covering 205,000 square feet, the eight apartment buildings contain 204 units in one-, two- and three-bedroom configurations. The property also has two carriage houses and garage buildings, plus amenities including a saltwater pool, fitness center, electric vehicle charging stations, pet spa and dog park and clubhouse.

All apartments also feature custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, nine-foot ceilings and walk-in closets.

“While there is a great deal of urban product under construction, the Birmingham suburbs have been by and large overlooked,” said David Bail, principal of Dobbins Group, a multifamily real estate investment firm based in Birmingham. “We are thankful to Williams Blackstock Architects for putting our vision to paper and Capstone Building Corp. for producing it so efficiently.”

Jay Chapman, owner and CEO of Capstone Building Corp., said, “Easterwood Apartments fills a void in the area for those looking for an accessible, upscale apartment in a great location near employment, retail and recreational opportunities.”
