A proposed entertainment district in Foley could become a reality pending a final vote on it in August. The designation would allow patrons to carry drinks from bar to bar or restaurant to restaurant if the drink was purchased at a Main Street business. – Bama Buzz

Troy surveying program wins national award
Troy University’s Surveying and Geomatics Sciences program is one of seven in the U.S. to win the Surveying Education Award.
