Aderholt wants update on status of proposed poultry plant

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt, saying the people of Gadsden and Etowah County are clearly opposed to a proposed poultry rendering plant, wants an update from the Federal Aviation Administration on the status of the plant that would be built near Gadsden’s airport. The Pilgrim’s Pride Corp. would turn chicken parts into animal food. – AL.com

UNA continues with record enrollment

The University of North Alabama had 5% growth in enrollment for fall 2021, the 11th straight term of record enrollment for the school. UNA also experienced a record six-year graduation rate. – University of North Alabama
