Wharf launches Portside expansion

The Wharf in Orange Beach has launched Portside on Main, a 33,000-square-foot expansion that will include retail, office and entertainment space. The expansion will include 26,000 square feet of green and open space with an outdoor stage.  – AL.com

Huntsville’s Interfuze lands $31 million contract

Interfuze, based in Huntsville, has won a $31 million contract from the Department of Defense. The contract is for program management, engineering support, sustainment and maintenance of hardware, software upgrades and end-user training. Work will be throughout the U.S. – Defense Daily

Birmingham’s Wilbron agency wins national award

Wilbron, based in Birmingham, has received the Silver Anvil award from the Public Relations Society of America. The company won the award for its work with Karat and tennis champion Serena Williams to address the increasing number of Black software engineers. – Public Relations Society of America
