Farm supply and home décor store Rural King is investing $12 million to renovate an existing building in Gadsden. The retailer plans to open the location before the end of the year. Rural King opened its Saraland location, its fifth in Alabama, in March. – Al.com

Home sales continue to grow across Alabama but lag behind pre-2024 numbers
Home sales across Alabama continued to increase in June with numbers rising 8.2% over May and 10.94% over 2024, according to the Alabama Economic and Real Estate Report released by the Alabama Association of Realtors.
