Joining a tradition that includes Birmingham’s celebrated Sidewalk Film Festival and that once included Dothan’s home-town tribute to cowboy star Johnny Mack Brown, the Baldwin County city will offer its first Fairhope Film Festival Nov. 7 to 10.
The new festival will follow a “Best of the Best” theme, screening 40 films in four days — all of which have won or been nominated for awards. The program includes a mix of full-length features with documentary, shorts and animated selections.
