Encompass Health Chief Medical Officer Elissa Charbonneau has been recognized by Modern Healthcare as one of this year’s 50 Most Influential Clinical Executives.
Charbonneau, who has been with Encompass for 28 years, oversees the medical operations for 136 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals across 39 states and Puerto Rico.
She received her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, a master’s from the State University of New York at Buffalo and her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University.
