Dr. Kathy Porter

Family Health, Mobile County Health Department’s primary care division, has added Dr. Kathy Porter to its staff. She joins as a full-time provider at the Women’s Center.

She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University, her medical degree from the University of Louisville and also holds an MBA from Auburn University.

She previously served the University of South Alabama as a professor and chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her most recent role was as a field representative for the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in Chicago.
