Dr. Jimmy Hodges has been named interim president at Calhoun Community College.
Hodges has 40 years of experience in higher education administration, manufacturing and drafting and design technology. He most recently served as regional workforce director for the Alabama Community College System and as dean of Applied Technologies at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville.
Hodges earned a diploma in machine shop technology from Wallace State, an associate of applied science degree in machine tool technology from Calhoun, a bachelor’s degree in career and technical education and a bachelor’s in management of technology from Athens State University, a master’s in educational leadership and his doctorate in higher education administration from the University of Alabama.
