Huntsville-based GATR Technologies has been recognized nationally for record growth, and its president, Paul Gierow, also won honors from the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce.
Gierow received the Russell Brown Executive Leadership Award in early September, recognizing his role at the company that makes portable, stand-alone antennas to provide communications in remote or storm-tossed areas.
A few days earlier, GATR was on Inc.’s 500/5000 list of fastest growing companies for the third year in a row.
The company’s products were developed with assistance from Huntsville’s Space and Missile Defense Command and the Air Force Research Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
