Gresham Smith has hired Dale Jones as executive vice president of the Water + Environment market. In this role, he will guide the implementation of water and environment services for clients and lead market growth strategies.
Jones has more than 20 years of experience, including previously serving as vice president, director of operations for Jacobs. In that role, Jones led the company’s Georgia and Central Florida infrastructure operations and was responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve business growth. Prior to his experience at Jacobs, he served as senior vice president at AECOM, where he led client development and marketing strategy for the water business in the South.

Jones is a graduate of Mercer University, where he earned an MBA in international business. He completed his Ph.D. studies at the University of Georgia and earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in biology from the University of Alabama.
