Cupbop, a Korean-barbecue-in-a-cup restaurant that was popular on “Shark Tank,” is building its first Alabama location in Auburn. On “Shark Tank,” the owners struck a deal with Mark Cuban.  – Bama Buzz

Birmingham approves $4.5 million for Rickwood updates

Birmingham’s Rickwood Field will undergo $4.5 million in renovations before the June 2024 Major League Baseball game planned for the historic venue. On June 20, the St. Louis Cardinals will take on the San Francisco Giants. – WVTM 13

 

Florence restaurant closes after 3 weeks

After only three weeks in business, Struts on Pine in Florence shut its doors. Employees say they were told to leave because the business couldn’t make payroll, and 20-24 employees are owed wages. – News 19
