Barry Morton dies at 83

Barry Morton, chairman emeritus of Robins & Morton, has died at age 83. He began his career at Robins Engineering after graduating from Auburn, became part-owner of the company in 1975 and president in 1992. In 1991, the construction company became known as Robins & Morton.  – Robins & Morton

Pioneering Huntsville brew pub to close

Below the Radar Brewhouse, which opened in downtown Huntsvile in August 2012, is closing its doors. The brewpub, bar and restaurant, one of the first to begin a revitalization of Huntsville’s downtown, will close sometime the last week of the year. – AL.com
