Carnival Ecstasy will sail from Mobile

In a shuffling of routes post-pandemic, Carnival says its Carnival Ecstasy, not its Sensation, will sail from Mobile. The Ecstasy, a sister ship to the Sensation, had been sailing out of Jacksonville, Florida. – AL.com

Radiance plans expansion in Ohio

Huntsville-based Radiance Technologies will invest more than $900,000 and create 100 new jobs at its Beavercreek, Ohio, site. Ohio state documents said the state was competing for the expansion with Alabama. – Stars and Stripes

 

3 North Alabama companies receive federal contracts

Three North Alabama companies were awarded federal contracts from the Defense Logistics Agency this week. The companies are Lee Precision Machine Shop in Anniston ($28,899  for weapons), PPG Industries in Huntsville ($750,000 for aircraft and airframe structural components) and Huntsville’s J.I.T. ($89,465) for electric wire and power and distribution equipment.  – The News Courier
