
Charlie Prickett, current president and chief operating officer at AAA Cooper Transportation, has been named chief executive officer. Former CEO Reid Dove is moving into the chairman role at the company and will continue to serve on the board of the parent company, Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings.
Prickett has served as president and COO for 14 years. He has been with the company for 22 years.

Dove, who has served as CEO for 24 years, has been with the company 30 years.
The company’s history goes back to its founding in the 1930s by John “Red” Dove in Alabama. It is based in Dothan. Knight-Swift acquired AAA Cooper Transportation in July 2021.
AAA Cooper provides less-than-truckload, truckload, dedicated and international shipping, as well as brokerage and fleet maintenance services. The company’s affiliate carrier program allows it to offer customers access to Canada, Mexico and international destinations. Earlier this year, the company was selected by Inbound Logistics as a 2024 Green Supply Chain Partner. It has been on the G75 list for the past eight years.
